An Arab leaves a child in a village circus with two books: The Arabian Nights. When the trapeze artist is injured, she decides to memorize the stories to tell them to the public. This will give life to Sherezade and King Shariyar to the point of confusing, she and the abandoned child, their roles in the world of truth and illusion.

Andrés Montero is writer and oral narrator, author of the book of short stories La inutil perfeccion y otros cuentos sepios (LOM, 2012) and the novels Tony Ninguno (La Pollera Ediciones, 2016) and Taguada (Sudamericana, 2018). He wrote the youth books En el horizonte se dibuja un barco (SM, 2019) and Alguien toca la puerta. Leyendas chilenas (SM, 2017; Marta Brunet Award). For his novel Tony Ninguno, he won the 2017 Elena Poniatowska Ibero-American Novel Prize in Mexico City, the Pedro de Oña, the Best Literary Work and an honorable mention in the Argentina Clarín Novel Prize. In 2021 he will publish his next novel with La Pollera Ediciones.

Así dará vida a Sherezade y el rey Shariyar hasta el punto de confundir, ella y el niño abandonado, sus roles dentro del mundo de la verdad y de la ilusión.

Andrés Montero es escritor y narrador oral, autor del libro de cuentos La inútil perfección y otros cuentos sepiosos (LOM, 2012) y de las novelas Tony Ninguno (La Pollera Ediciones, 2016) y Taguada (Sudamericana, 2018). Escribió los libros juveniles En el horizonte se dibuja un barco (SM, 2019) y Alguien toca la puerta. Leyendas Chilenas (SM, 2017; Premio Marta Brunet).  Por su novela Tony Ninguno, obtuvo el Premio Iberoamericano de novela de la Ciudad de México Elena Poniatowska el año 2017, el Mejor Obra Literaria el Pedro de Oña y una mención honrosa en el Premio Clarín de Novela de Argentina. En 2021 publicará su próxima novela con La Pollera Ediciones.
