Is there someone who wants to remember what he refused to know while it was happening? Who wants to believe in the truth, even if it is disguised as a lie? From the confinement, Nadia chooses to tell the story of her personal revenge against the impunity of the genociders of the last Argentine civil-military dictatorship, even if this means even punishing herself. 

Nadia speaks the language of defeat like a native. He talks until his throat is dry, he rinses it with the last saliva to discover, after all, that some victories can only be savored by wounded palates. 

Raquel Robles, one of the founders of H.I.J.O.S, transcends the limits of language with this novel, generating an unexpected fiction about the core of the struggle that animated her life, in which politics and literature dialogue.

Raquel Robles is a writer and a human rights activist. ¿Habrá alguien que quiera recordar aquello que se negó a saber mientras sucedía?, ¿que quiera creer en la verdad, aunque esté disfrazada de mentira? 

Desde el encierro, Nadia elige contar la historia de su venganza personal contra la impunidad de los genocidas de la última dictadura cívico-militar argentina, aunque esto signifique incluso, castigarse a sí misma. 

Nadia habla la lengua de la derrota como una nativa. Habla hasta dejar seca la garganta, la enjuaga con la última saliva para descubrir, después de todo, que algunas victorias sólo pueden ser degustadas por paladares heridos. 

Raquel Robles, una de las fundadoras de H.I.J.O.S, trasciende con esta novela los límites del lenguaje generando una ficción inesperada sobre el meollo de la lucha que animó su vida, en la que dialogan política y literatura. 

"Pone la pava en el fuego y sin mirarme me dice: la derrota es entender que perdimos, que no se puede volver a intentar porque no se puede volver, que las consecuencias de esta catástrofe son todavía incalculables. […] Pero la derrota es mucho más que eso. Es entender profundamente que lo que se rompió en el pasado no se arregla en el futuro".
