Cero Gauss

Cero Gauss is a novel that tells the story of two characters subjected to an irreversible natural disaster: the decrease in the level of magnetism. On the one hand is Santiago. He is a pessimist and usurer of the Conurbano Bonaerense who, due to a calculation error, makes a woman he barely knows pregnant, and in his desperation he runs into Moloch, a pai umbanda who will show him the true path of redemption. On the other hand, Eric, a carefree young man, that loses all the money he had inherited from his nono [grandpa] and decides to sell his body to a genetic experiment led by occult scientists who will try to clone embryos capable of prolonging human life in an attempt to survive as long as possible in a decomposing planet Earth, before humanity loses control of its will.

‘Gauss’ is the unit with which the level of magnetism emanating from the sun towards our planet is measured. According to Mayan predictions (later ratified by science), we are witnessing a change of era. If magnetism reaches zero gauss, living beings could be in danger of achieving a state of total imbalance, followed by excessive acts of violence. The loss of control, the sedentary anarchy.

 Cero Gauss is an autobiographical novel with dystopian elements, close to the genre of science fiction, which calls into question the possibility that two different personalities (parallel in time and space) coexist in the same body.
